Wrinkle Botox, 3 Areas
qd wrinkle botox 3 areas
Wrinkle Botox, 3 Areas is an option in which three of the five areas — forehead, between the brows, around the eyes, under the eyes or the bridge of the nose — are treated at once. Because the three areas are handled on the same day, the balance between them can be adjusted in one go, rather than treating each area separately. Before choosing the three areas, QD Clinic looks at which muscles pull against each other to create your expressions.
Treatable areas
- Forehead
- Glabella (frown lines)
- Eye area
- Under-eye
- Nose bridge
Wrinkle Botox, 3 Areas is available at QD Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea.

is this for me
Who it’s for
Even if none of these describes you, we will look again at the consultation.
- Expression lines in several places, such as the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes, bother you together
- You’re concerned about upper–lower or left–right imbalance from treating one area at a time
- You want to take care of three areas in a single visit
Choosing three areas doesn’t mean using the same amount in each. Less goes where the muscle is weaker, and an appropriate amount where it is stronger.
start with your concern
Before you pick a treatment name, start with the cause of your concern.
Even a treatment with the same name takes on a different role and scope depending on your current structure, the change you want, what you have had before and the recovery time you have.
Where you are now, and where we start
Which three of the five areas should be combined for your expressions to look even, and the balance between muscles that pull against each other
The change you want, the impression you keep
The forehead and the area between the brows contain muscles that pull the brows in opposite directions, so brow shape can turn out differently depending on whether you choose one or both — we explain this first.
How it differs from similar options
The total amount used across three areas is larger, so we ask whether you’ve ever felt your expression became stiff after Botox.
Health information and recovery schedule
If you choose both around the eyes and under the eyes, the muscle circling the eye is treated in two places, outer and lower, so we talk in advance about how your smile may change.
the principle
How it works
The key with 3 areas is not “which three” but “how the three pull against each other”.
Expressions in the upper face are created as the muscle that raises the brows (forehead) and the muscles that lower them (between the brows and the outer eye area) hold against each other. If only one side weakens, the other becomes relatively stronger, which can change brow height or the shape of the brow tail. So when three areas are treated together, we don’t set the dose for each spot in isolation; we work out together how much strength will remain on each side. The US prescribing information for Botox Cosmetic also states that forehead lines should be treated together with frown lines.

How it works
Muscles that raise and lower
The frontalis raises the brows, while the muscles between the brows and at the outer eye area lower them. Treating all three together can reduce the chance of only one side being left to pull.
The shape of the brow tail
If only the centre of the forehead weakens and the outer part remains, the brow tails can look raised. When the forehead is chosen, we also decide how to handle the area above the brow tails.
Dividing the dose
Within the amount used for the three areas, we divide the proportions for each spot. For first-timers, it is safer to start low, look at the remaining movement after 2 weeks and reflect it in the next session.
Choosing the combination
You can choose three upper-face areas such as the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes, or group them around frowning expressions, such as between the brows, around the eyes and the bridge of the nose. Which combination suits you is decided by looking at your expressions.
the qd standard
The same treatment, never the same plan.
Rather than a fashionable name or a fixed package, we weigh the structure found at examination, safety, recovery and the limits within one plan.
- DIAGNOSIS FIRST
Cause before name
We first separate out the tissue and the function behind your concern.
- LESS, PRECISE
Only as much as needed
Rather than an excessive change, we plan the smallest scope with a clear role.
- HONEST LIMIT
The limits, explained too
We explain the change you can expect, the alternatives, individual differences and the risks.
personal plan
From consultation to follow-up, planned as one flow.

Choosing three areas
We ask you to make expressions and choose together the three places where lines fold the most.
Dividing the dose
We compare muscle strength across the three areas to divide the amount for each spot, and decide on the product: Korean-made, Coretox or imported.
Checking balance again
Around 2 weeks, when the effect has settled, we look at the balance of brow height and the shape of your smile.
What the procedure is like
- Expression check and choosing three areas
- Marking injection points for all three areas at once
- Injecting the planned amount for each area
- Gentle pressure, then aftercare guidance before you leave
Because three areas are treated at once, marking and injecting take a little longer than for 1 area. The exact time will be explained when you visit.
Please read this before treatment
- Because several spots are injected, small bumps may appear in a few places; they usually settle quickly.
- On the day, avoid rubbing the injection points or lying face down in a way that presses on your face.
- If your brows feel heavy or the two sides feel different within 2 weeks, let us know.
Safety & considerations
Possible reactions
- Redness, bumps or bruising at several injection points
- Brows that feel heavy, or brow tails that look raised
- Rarely, eyelid drooping
- Occasionally, headache
Please tell us first if
- Your eyelids are naturally heavy or you have had eyelid surgery
- You had Botox elsewhere within the last 3–4 months
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a condition affecting the junction between nerves and muscles
- You are taking muscle relaxants or certain antibiotics
Treating three areas together increases the amount used at one time. If you’ve had Botox elsewhere, be sure to tell us so the total amount can be taken into account. Effect and duration vary from person to person.
what to expect
What to expect over time
A general guide to how the days and months after treatment usually unfold. Results vary by individual.
Same day
Needle marks in several places
Small bumps form at several injection points and usually settle quickly.
First week
Different for each area
The change in the three areas may not arrive on the same day and can feel slightly different in each.
About 2 weeks
Checking balance
This is when all three areas have settled, so we look at brow height and the shape of your smile together.
3–4 months
Wearing off area by area
The speed at which movement returns also differs slightly by area. (Results vary from person to person.)
Sessions & results
Even when three areas are treated at once, how long the effect lasts can differ slightly by area. At the next session, we can look at which area wore off first and which lasted longer, and choose the combination of three areas again. (Results vary from person to person.)
how it compares
How it compares
These are treatments you can compare when lines in several places bother you together.
| Wrinkle Botox, 3 Areas | Wrinkle Botox, 1 Area | Skin Botox 3cc+1 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coverage | Three of the five areas | One of the five areas | The shallow layer of the skin over a wide area of the face |
| What it addresses | Expression muscles in three areas and the balance between them | The expression muscle in one area | Skin texture, pores and shine |
| When to consider | When you want to adjust expression lines in several places at once | When you want to try just one area first | When skin texture concerns you more than lines |
If you need three areas on the same day, consult us about the 3-area option rather than choosing 1 area three times.
before consultation
Before you decide, the questions people always ask
Tell us the three areas you want and we start from that combination. If, after looking at your expressions, another combination seems likely to look more even, we explain why — and the choice remains yours. For example, you can group the three upper-face areas (forehead, between the brows and around the eyes), or build the group around a frowning expression with between the brows, around the eyes and the nasal bridge.
Heavy brows tend to occur when only the lifting force of the forehead weakens while the lowering force remains. Treating the area between the brows as well helps reduce that risk, but cannot eliminate it. If your eyelids are naturally heavy, we use an even smaller amount on the forehead.
Whether an expression looks frozen depends more on the amount used at each spot than on the number of areas. We recommend starting in a way that leaves a little movement, then adjusting next time after seeing the result at 2 weeks. Even within the amount for three areas, weaker spots get less and stronger spots get an amount to match, so the three areas do not all receive the same amount.
Muscle strength differs from spot to spot, so even with injections on the same day, the effect can feel different. Let us know after about 2 weeks, once the full effect has appeared, and we reflect the amount for that spot in the next session. Movement also returns at a slightly different pace in each area, so at the next session we may also rework the combination of three areas based on which spot wore off first and which lasted longer.
Treatments that apply heat or pressure can press on or rub the areas where Botox was placed, so we set an order. Whether to have them on the same day, and in what order, is decided by looking at the treatment you’ll have alongside. For the same reason, on the day of Botox we ask you to avoid rubbing the injection points or lying face down with pressure on your face.
