is this for me

Who it’s for

Even if none of these describes you, we will look again at the consultation.

  • Skin that looks rough-textured and less firm
  • You want exfoliation and firmness care in one session
  • You prefer care that layers several products without a neutralizing step

Pink Peel does not lift sagging skin. If sagging is your concern, we discuss lifting treatments with you as well.

start with your concern

Before you pick a treatment name, start with the cause of your concern.

Even a treatment with the same name takes on a different role and scope depending on your current structure, the change you want, what you have had before and the recovery time you have.

  • Where you are now, and where we start

Whether you want smoother texture or firmness care, and whether acids sting your skin a lot

  • The change you want, the impression you keep

If firmness is your concern, we also look at how much sagging there is. If sagging is clear, lifting treatment may suit you better than a peel.

  • How it differs from similar options

Pink Peel solution contains lactic acid and citric acid, so we ask whether acids have stung you a lot before.

  • Health information and recovery schedule

If you have recently had another peel or laser, we set the date based on how well your skin has recovered.

the principle

How it works

Pink Peel refines dead skin with organic acids from fermented kudzu.

The manufacturer, Theraderm, describes Pink Peel solution as “a peeling solution in which natural organic acids, fermented from kudzu and concentrated, shed dead skin cells”, and labels it a functional cosmetic for wrinkle improvement. The disclosed full ingredient list includes vinegar, lactic acid, kudzu root extract and citric acid; concentrations have not been disclosed. It states that the serum used next contains adenosine and acetyl hexapeptide-8.

How it works

  • Solution

A peeling solution containing fermented kudzu organic acids and lactic acid refines dead skin.

  • Serum

A serum containing kudzu concentrate and adenosine. Adenosine is designated by the MFDS (Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) as an ingredient for wrinkle-improvement functional cosmetics.

  • Cream mask

In the manufacturer’s sequence, the solution and serum are followed by a cream mask containing kudzu extract.

  • Patch and dedicated pack

At QD Clinic, after Sono and Omega LED, we finish with the Pink Peel Smart Patch and dedicated pack.

the qd standard

The same treatment, never the same plan.

Rather than a fashionable name or a fixed package, we weigh the structure found at examination, safety, recovery and the limits within one plan.

  • DIAGNOSIS FIRST

    Cause before name

We first separate out the tissue and the function behind your concern.

  • LESS, PRECISE

    Only as much as needed

Rather than an excessive change, we plan the smallest scope with a clear role.

  • HONEST LIMIT

    The limits, explained too

We explain the change you can expect, the alternatives, individual differences and the risks.

  1. Clarifying your concern

We first establish whether your goal is smoother texture or firmness.

  2. Stinging history

We ask how much stinging or redness you had with acid cosmetics or previous peels.

  3. Step by step

We proceed in order — solutions 1, 2, 3, Sono, Omega LED, Smart Patch, dedicated pack — and check your skin at the end.

What the procedure is like

  1. Cleansing
  2. Pink Peel 1 → 2 → 3
  3. Sono
  4. Omega LED
  5. Smart Patch
  6. Dedicated pack

There are many steps — three products, two devices, a patch and a pack. Total time is explained at your visit.

Plan it with our doctors

Please read this before treatment

  • Most people can return to normal activities straight away.
  • On the day, please don’t use high-alcohol toners or scrubs.
  • Reapply sunscreen when you go out.

Safety & considerations

Possible reactions

  • Temporary stinging or redness
  • Dryness or tightness
  • Occasionally mild flaking

Please tell us first if

  • You have had severe irritation from acid cosmetics
  • You have recently had laser, peel or injection treatments
  • You have a skin infection or wound
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding

Pink Peel is a cosmetic peel, not a lifting treatment that corrects sagging. Reactions and results vary from person to person.

what to expect

What to expect over time

A general guide to how the days and months after treatment usually unfold. Results vary by individual.

  1. During treatment

    Stinging from solution 1

It may sting while the solution is on. Tell us straight away if it is uncomfortable.

  2. That evening

    Moisturizing

After a gentle cleanse, apply plenty of moisturizer.

  3. Over a few days

    Changes in texture

Depending on your skin, mild flaking may appear. How much people feel their texture has changed varies.

Sessions & results

Our treatment menu has a single session and 5 sessions. The “firmness” care the manufacturer speaks of is within the scope of caring for the skin surface; it does not lift sagging tissue. The manufacturer has not disclosed a recommended interval, so it is decided by your skin’s response. (Results vary from person to person.)

before consultation

Before you decide, the questions people always ask

  • No. The manufacturer presents it as a peel for firmness care, but lifting sagging tissue is the job of lifting treatments. If sagging is your concern, we discuss those treatments with you.

  • Adenosine is an ingredient the MFDS has designated for wrinkle-improvement functional cosmetics, and the manufacturer states it is in the Pink Peel serum. That makes it a cosmetic ingredient — not one that treats disease like a medicine. The manufacturer states that the same serum also contains acetyl hexapeptide-8.

  • QD Clinic’s Pink Peel has no neutralizing step, and none is listed in the manufacturer’s sequence either. Black Peel and LaLa Peel do include neutralizing — that is one of the differences. At QD Clinic, Pink Peel 1, 2 and 3 are applied in turn, followed by Sono, Omega LED, Smart Patch and the dedicated pack.

  • Lactic acid is a type of AHA, so stinging may be stronger on days when your skin is sensitive. During a very sensitive phase, we sometimes consider YES Peel or LaLa Peel first, as they focus on the barrier and calming. Before treatment we ask how much stinging or redness you have had with acid-based cosmetics or previous peels, and if it feels uncomfortable while the solution is on, just tell us.

  • There is no fixed interval. The manufacturer has not disclosed a recommended interval, so after each session we look at how long redness and flaking take to settle before setting the next date. If you have recently had another peel or a laser treatment, we also check how well your skin has recovered before setting the date.

  • The risk is higher if your skin tone is darker or you tend to get marks after inflammation. That is why we start with a shorter contact time and give strict sun-protection advice. If pigmentation has been left behind before, be sure to tell us.
