is this for me
Who it’s for
Even if none of these describes you, we will look again at the consultation.
- Small, localized fat on the upper arms
- Fullness at the flanks or love handles
- Fat above the knees or on the inner thighs
- Anyone who prefers a non-surgical, injection-based option
Before body use, we explain the rationale for that site, evidence limitations, alternatives and possible adverse effects. Results, doses and intervals from submental studies are not transferred directly to the body. Fat distribution and surrounding anatomy are assessed to determine suitability.
start with your concern
Before you pick a treatment name, start with the cause of your concern.
Even a treatment with the same name takes on a different role and scope depending on your current structure, the change you want, what you have had before and the recovery time you have.
Where you are now, and where we start
How far localized body fat extends on the arms, the flanks or above the knees, and skin elasticity
The change you want, the impression you keep
Before body use, we explain the rationale for that site, evidence limitations, alternatives and possible adverse effects. Results, doses and intervals from submental studies are not transferred directly to the body. Fat distribution and surrounding anatomy are assessed to determine suitability.
How it differs from similar options
These options all reduce small pockets of body fat or shape the body, but they work in different ways, so the right one depends on the area and whether firmness is also a goal.
Health information and recovery schedule
Bruising, swelling, pain or redness may occur after an injection. Early swelling should not be read as the final contour. Do not press firmly or massage the area yourself. Follow individual advice on showering, exercise and alcohol. Swelling, pain, firmness and skin reactions are reviewed as recovery progresses. The need, area and interval for further treatment are decided after examination. A fixed course or time to results is not assumed for body use.
the principle
How it works
We check the ingredients and their approved use, the target fat layer and the structures around it, and explain the limits of what injections alone can change.

How it works
A deoxycholic-acid solution
V-Olet places a solution based on deoxycholic acid (DCA) — a bile acid the body also produces — into small pockets of body fat such as the arms, flanks or above the knees.
Acting at the fat-cell membrane
DCA works at the membrane of fat cells in the treated area so the fat is broken down locally, which is why precise placement matters.
Plan volume and sessions

the qd standard
The same treatment, never the same plan.
Rather than a fashionable name or a fixed package, we weigh the structure found at examination, safety, recovery and the limits within one plan.
- DIAGNOSIS FIRST
Cause before name
We first separate out the tissue and the function behind your concern.
- LESS, PRECISE
Only as much as needed
Rather than an excessive change, we plan the smallest scope with a clear role.
- HONEST LIMIT
The limits, explained too
We explain the change you can expect, the alternatives, individual differences and the risks.

Concentrating the injections in one spot can leave the surface uneven, so we space the points out and distribute the product evenly. It is normal for the area to feel firm for a few weeks and then gradually soften. If the unevenness is visible to the eye it needs to be looked at, so please get in touch with us.

Tell us about any allergies and any reaction you have had to previous injections. Your current medicines and any condition under treatment are needed to check the ingredients and decide whether treatment is suitable. Please mention pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any inflammation where you would be treated. If you have had body injections or liposuction before, the timing and how you responded are reviewed as well.
Look at the examination and the plan rather than the treatment name. First, what the clinic checks before deciding — at QD Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, the first thing we look at for this treatment is “How far localized body fat extends on the arms, the flanks or above the knees, and skin elasticity”. Second, whether it explains why it recommends that scope and method, compared with the alternatives. Third, whether it reviews your progress with you when results are expected. Our doctor goes through these three points at consultation before the treatment is decided.
